Job summary

DuraServ is seeking a skilled engineer to support R&D activities and electromechanical maintenance on equipment and facilities. The role combines mechanical drafting, CNC programming, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime while coordinating with production and engineering.

You will interpret blueprints, write CNC programs, and assist in tooling selection, setup, and validation. A strong Lean background and communication skills are essential for success in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; further degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience in a LEAN environment; maintenance and troubleshooting background.
Experience reading blueprints and GD&T; working with CNC machines and automation.
Ability to read ladder logic, program adjustments, and support machine controls.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with production and engineering to implement rapid solutions safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot PLCs and maintain automation hardware; read ladder logic and adjust programs.
Develop, prove, and optimize CNC programs to meet GD&T specifications and tooling needs.
Interpret 2D drawings and migrate to a 3D CAD/CAM environment for fabrication.
Support capital projects and equipment improvements with engineering input.
