Job summary

McGough Construction seeks an Industrial Assistant Project Manager to support pursuit, preconstruction, scheduling, subcontracting and cost control on diverse industrial projects. The role partners with owners, design partners, and subcontractors, driving CPM schedules and BIM coordination while maintaining project documentation.

You will assist with RFI and submittal reviews, participate in safety and project meetings, and help deliver on-time, on-budget projects across sectors such as

Qualifications

• Construction Management or related degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience including self-perform experience.
• Experience with estimating and bid processes.
• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
• Self-starter with motivated approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pursuit, preconstruction and business development activities.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and document QA/QC page turns.
• Help develop CPM schedules and participate in scheduling processes.
• Support subcontractor procurement, bid analysis and tabulations.
• Assist in CPM scheduling and Last Planner processes.
• Review drawings, specs, RFI drafting and shop drawing submissions.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and project documentation.
• Assist with project sustainability documentation and cost control.
• Support project meetings, safety activities and close-out duties.
