This hands-on role requires reading schematics, solving problems on the shop floor, and collaborating with engineers and the installation team. You will manage wiring, labeling, testing, and documentation, while adhering to PPE rules and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect kitted materials from inventory according to BOM.
• Using hand and power tools, cut steel, aluminum and plastic enclosures and materials per drawings.
• Install industrial electrical and automation components per drawings.
• Print wire labels per engineering documents.
• Wire industrial control equipment per drawings.
• Professionally organize wiring in wireway and loom.
• Test power equipment under supervision and document results.
• Redline (correct) drawings for errors or corrections via Bluebeam.
• Log time and activities in business applications, including work orders and traveler documents.
• Communicate via Outlook and Teams with engineering, field and management teams.
• Control panel assembly including mounting, labeling, and wiring of custom systems.
• Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components following UL508 and electrical standards.
• Diagnose and address problems in electrical circuits and equipment using testing instruments.
• Test continuity of circuits to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
