Komar/Maren Engineering is an industry-leading recycling baler manufacturer located in South Holland, Illinois. Since 1962, Maren Balers and Shredders has manufactured the world’s best balers and shredders.

We seek self-motivated individuals with solid mechanical skills and a desire to learn electrical and hydraulic connections. You will be working from prints to perform builds; prior hydraulic, electrical, and MIG welding experience is a definite plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with machine assembly (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• MIG welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts to complete a machine using hand and power tools.
• Perform MIG welding of various metal thicknesses.
• Read blueprints and schematics for mechanical builds.
• Set up hydraulic system pressures and test equipment.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
