Equipmentservicesplus is seeking an experienced Baler/Compactor Mechanic to join their maintenance team in Chicago. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various recycling facility equipment. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience with industrial equipment, strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting capabilities, and a high school diploma. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience repairing industrial equipment, balers, or compactors.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair horizontal and vertical balers, compactors, and related recycling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on balers, conveyors, shredders, and compactors.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
