Job summary

Powerex-Iwata Air Technology Inc. is seeking an Assembly position to build and test industrial air compressor and vacuum products with engineered controls.

You’ll work to safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations, with pay increases at 60, 180, and 360 days. Responsibilities include assembling and disassembling mechanical components, wiring control circuits, plumbing, using common hand tools, and preparing finished units for shipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Stand 50% of the work day and move around the shop.
• Walk, kneel and stoop during the day.
• Use hand tools to perform mechanical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/disassemble mechanical components.
• Assemble industrial air compressor and vacuum products with engineered controls.
• Follow test procedures to ensure units work properly.
• Prepare finished units for shipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
