Job summary

ATCO Rubber Products, Inc. in Phoenix is hiring an Assembler to produce jacket or core parts at set standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role operates on two shifts with early morning to afternoon hours and requires constant attention to machine operation and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will work in a fast-paced plant environment, perform setup, monitoring, packing, and documentation, and participate in training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work process, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Must be able to operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production.
• Read and follow manuals and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.
• Willing and able to work overtime, up to every or every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate Core and Jacket machinery; handle materials according to procedures.
• Monitor and operate production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Examine core and jacket produced visually or physically for conformance with standards.
• Package finished materials in bundles/bags/boxes/pallets.
• Refer issues to Production Lead or supervisors for disposition.
