OTC Industrial Technologies in the United States is seeking an Applications Engineer who bridges engineering design and customer requirements by delivering technical expertise, product customization, and application support.

You will support inside and outside sales, assist with proposals, read blueprints, select appropriate products, create quotes, and manage project timelines while mentoring junior staff. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or similar field preferred.
• 3–8 years of engineering or application work in rotating equipment OR 0–3 years with a 2- or 4-year engineering degree.
• Experience working with EPC contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
• Familiarity with distribution model and/or industrial equipment sales.
• Experience with rotating equipment product lines and manufacturers, size and selection of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
