Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. in Randleman, NC is seeking a Painter - Aluminum/Metal to perform intermediate-level industrial painting with limited supervision, using air-assisted airless spray systems and to handle surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and caulking.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, knowledge of electrostatic spray systems, and the ability to operate PIT equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency preferred; education plus relevant work experience considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrostatic spray systems with plural component applications.
• Able to operate PIT equipment moving large weldments.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical hand tools (Drills, Impact Driver, Rivet/Insert Gun, Tape Measures).

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT equipment to transport heavy loads during manufacturing.
• Apply paints and coatings with air-assisted airless spray guns.
• Prepare spray gun, air caps, and configure air/fluid pressure.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, and sanding.
• Maintain and troubleshoot spray equipment and hoses.
• Inspect finished surfaces for uniform coverage and quality.
