Job summary

K2 Ascend Solutions in Toledo, OH is seeking a Compressor Technician for on-site field service. You will troubleshoot, service, and repair industrial air compressors and rotating equipment, building strong customer relationships and maintaining safet y standards.

The role requires a mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in industrial environments. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Direct industrial air-compressor service experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with rotating equipment, industrial maintenance, or multi-craft maintenance is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing technical training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physical duties that include standing and bending.
• Ability to successfully complete required drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions that improve reliability and operating efficiency.
• Identify repair, upgrade, and preventive-maintenance opportunities based on equipment condition and customer needs.
• Complete accurate service reports and document work performed.
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked company service vehicle.
• Respond to urgent and emergency service needs as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers while providing professional field-service support.
• Follow established safety procedures and company service standards.
• Participate in ongoing technical, supplier, and equipment training.
• Support additional field-service responsibilities as needed.
