Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Toledo, OH is seeking a Service Technician to work hands-on with industry-leading compressed air systems, troubleshoot for customers, and grow technical expertise through continuous learning.

You'll repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment, diagnose issues, complete service reports, maintain a stocked vehicle, and respond to urgent calls with safety and professionalism. Training and advancement opportunities are strong at OTC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver\'s license; pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and work in varied environments.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
