Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Data Science & Machine Vision Engineer to build the intelligence layer for global manufacturing. You will integrate MES data, tests, and images, deploying ML and vision systems to improve inspection, yield, and traceability across suppliers.

The role blends hands‑on analytics with production deployment on a hybrid schedule in San Francisco. You will work across factory floors, Python notebooks, and data pipelines to deliver robust analytics, collaborating

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in manufacturing software, industrial data science, machine vision, or related fields.
• Experience deploying ML/analytics in factory or production environments.
• Strong Python and data processing libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Build manufacturing data foundations and end‑to‑end data systems across supplier networks.
• Develop machine‑vision systems and robust ML solutions for inspection and yield improvement.
• Automate manufacturing analysis and deploy dashboards/alerts for root‑cause analysis.
• Lead deployment across NPI phases from EVT/DVT to mass production and sustaining.
