Granite Solutions Groupe, Inc. seeks a Consultant for AI & Automation to turn rapid AI prototypes into production-ready systems and reusable components.

You will design data structures and leverage semantic search, embeddings, and AI context tech while aligning with business needs and governance standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software/AI engineering, hands-on AI development, and a proven track record deploying prototypes to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, AI engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on AI-assisted development and modern software practices.
• Experience taking prototypes to production-ready solutions.
• Experience with database and data structure design.
• Experience with semantic search, embeddings, vector search, or related AI tech.
• Strong understanding of component-based development and reusable architecture.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, or external connectors.
• Ability to address technical debt in fast-moving AI projects.
• Experience documenting technical solutions and patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Turn AI-assisted prototypes into production-ready applications and components.
• Design databases and data structures to support AI-enabled solutions.
• Work with semantic search, embeddings, and related AI tech.
• Develop reusable, component-based solutions across the org.
• Minimize external connectors and improve portability.
• Identify and manage technical debt from AI development.
• Build reusable patterns and standards for broader use.
• Follow design system and tech standards where relevant.
• Document architecture, components, and implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with business, tech, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
• Support repeatable AI development methodologies.
• Navigate ambiguity to decide the right technical approach.
