GTRJOBS is hiring an Induction Furnace Operator Lead for a day shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will oversee daily production, ensure safety and quality, and lead a team to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has prior leadership experience in heavy manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive production standards while mentoring staff. This role requires hands-on operation of furnaces and related equipment.

Induction Furnace Operator- Day Shift! Schedule: 5A-3:30P / Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $20-$26+ Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Furnace OperatorLeadto oversee daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong leader who can hold employees accountable, maintain production standards, and ensure the team is set up for success each day. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with manufacturing leadership experience who can make an immediate impact. Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production employees to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and safety throughout the shift.
  • Hold team members accountable to company standards and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with management and production employees.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and assist in maintaining efficient production flow.
  • Train and mentor employees on proper procedures and best practices.
  • Learn and operate induction furnaces and centrifugal spinning equipment.
Qualifications
  • Previous lead, foreman, supervisor, or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees and enforce performance standards.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Furnace, foundry, molten metal, or heavy manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with centrifugal casting/spinning operations is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn induction furnace operations.
