Job summary

British Swim School is seeking part-time swim instructors in Illinois to teach year-round at multiple locations, including South Elgin. You’ll work with preschool and elementary-aged kids, with weekend and after-school shifts and a focus on safety and fun in the water.

Paid training, lifeguard certification coverage, and a purpose-driven culture are provided. Pay starts at $15–$18 per hour, with flexible schedules to fit school or other jobs.

Requirements For Swim Instructors

• You need to be a “swimmer”. Ideally, you have an understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water.
• You've got to love working with children and seeing them progress.
• You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!
• This is a year-round indoor position, and we are looking for longer-term employees. This is not a summer job.
• Weekend Shifts available from 9:00am-4pm and
• Weekday Shifts available from 3:30pm-8:00pm
• You need to be able to reliably commute to one of our pools in Arlington Heights, Naperville, Carol Stream, South Elgin or Oswego.

Compensation And Rewards

• Pay starts at $15.00 - $18.00/hr
