Qualifications

• Experience in indoor percussion or similar performing arts.
• Previous instructional experience with percussion ensembles preferred.
• Strong percussion fundamentals and ensemble instruction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in implementing artistic, educational, and competitive goals.
• Coordinate daily program operations and rehearsal planning.
• Serve as secondary contact for staff and students; lead in Director's absence.
• Participate in program design, production development, and evaluation of adjudicator feedback.
• Support student development, attendance, preparation, and conduct policies.
• Coordinate staff communications and ensure consistency between musical and visual instruction.
• Assist with rehearsal setup, equipment, and competition-day logistics.
• Maintain professional relationships and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families.
