Job summary

Fusion Soccer Club is seeking a Facility and Program Director in Minnesota to lead development and growth of programming within the indoor facility, identify opportunities, and coordinate program launches. You will plan budgets, monitor participation, utilization, revenue, and profitability while ensuring space is used efficiently.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of progressively responsible experience in program development, facility utilization, recreation, sports administration, business development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop programs or partnerships from concept through launch and evaluation.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgets, projections, pricing, and performance reports.
• Strong project management, relationship-building, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple departments, balance competing priorities, and move projects forward without direct authority over every contributor.
• Experience in youth sports, indoor recreation, facility rentals, or nonprofit organizations is preferred; technical soccer credentials are not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive programming plan for the indoor facility.
• Identify underused hours and develop opportunities to use them effectively.
• Research community needs, market demand, competitive offerings, and new program concepts.
• Develop program proposals with target audiences, schedules, staffing, space needs, pricing, and projected revenue.
• Recommend launches, expansions, or modifications based on participation and financial performance.
• Create launch plans and timelines for approved programs and facility initiatives.
• Coordinate registration setup, staffing plans, marketing needs, facility requirements, and communications.
• Shape offerings with program owners and coordinate internal and external rental needs.
• Establish handoffs, operating expectations, and post-program review processes.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations and relationships with renters and community partners.
• Respond to rental opportunities and prepare pricing or partnership recommendations.
• Coordinate space needs and elevate competing priorities to leadership.
• Support renter onboarding, renewals, and ongoing relationships.
• Maintain adequate facility staffing and identify opportunities for recurring rentals.
• Oversee day-to-day facility condition, safety, and readiness; coordinate timely repairs.
• Communicate closures or hazards and escalate safety concerns as needed.
• Build annual and seasonal revenue forecasts, participation targets, and budgets with the ED.
• Monitor utilization, enrollment, revenue, and profitability; report findings to leadership.
