Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking Indonesian bilingual experts to join a remote, contractor-based project focused on improving Indonesian language understanding and generation. You will evaluate AI-generated Indonesian speech and provide actionable feedback.

Strong Indonesian language skills and English communication are required; experience in translation, linguistics, or language QA is preferred. Flexible remote work, detailed guidelines, and timely delivery are provided.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Indonesian with written and spoken fluency.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian cultural nuances and regional variations.
• B2+ proficiency in English with strong written and verbal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical language evaluation.
• Ability to identify pronunciation, fluency, grammar, tone and authenticity.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and follow guidelines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio clips to evaluate nativeness, fluency, and quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and authenticity.
• Evaluate language accuracy and identify unnatural expressions.
• Validate cultural and contextual appropriateness of language.
• Provide written feedback in English and verbal feedback when required.
• Document observations and provide actionable insights for model improvement.
• Follow guidelines, rubrics, and evaluation standards.
• Collaborate with project coordinators on findings and clarification of requirements.
• Complete assessments accurately within defined project timelines.
• Suggest linguistically informed improvements to evaluation frameworks.
