Job summary

Atlantic Council of the United States invites applicants for a full-time Young Global Professional internship with the Indo-Pacific Security Initiative in Washington, DC. The YGP will support research, events, and communications, coordinating tasks, and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Mandarin is a plus, and strong writing is required. We require a college junior, graduate student, or recent graduate with interest in Asia-Pacific defense and deterrence topics.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a college junior in good standing, a graduate student, or a recent graduate.
• Preferred majors include Asian Studies, International Relations, National Security, or related fields.
• Experience with relevant wargames, seminars, and workshops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IPSI’s day-to-day operational, substantive, and administrative functions for ongoing projects.
• Support coordination, scheduling, and logistics for events, including invitations, correspondence, notetaking, and tracking participants.
• Conduct research and citation, editing, proofreading, and graphical work to support project activities.
