Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a Host-Nation Engagement & Integration Director in the Digital Innovations unit to drive planning, coordination, and execution across the USINDOPACOM AOR. The role reports to the SVP of Digital Innovations and focuses on mitigating geopolitical, logistical, and host-nation challenges to accelerate project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years supporting DoD and expeditionary engineering, with Pacific-region experience, and excels in stakeholder engagement,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience supporting DoD, joint service, expeditionary engineering, infrastructure, logistics, real estate, permitting, planning, or field coordination efforts.
• Experience coordinating mission support activities in the Pacific region or other complex, geopolitically sensitive operating environments.
• Experience identifying risks and mitigation related to access, permitting, host-nation coordination, real estate, logistics, and mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving, judgment, and decision-support skills in dynamic field environments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with government, military, contractor, and host-nation stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Host-Nation Engagement & Integration Director supporting planning, coordination, and execution across the USINDOPACOM AOR.
• Assist PMs and customer teams in preparing for and mitigating geopolitical, logistical, permitting, and host-nation coordination challenges.
• Support advanced planning: site access, land-use, real estate coordination, and permitting pathways.
• Coordinate with DoD stakeholders, joint service reps, uniformed units, contractors, and host-nation partners to ensure timely project execution.
• Capture risks, constraints, and decision points and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Document field insights, lessons learned, and improve planning processes and digital workflows.
