A national nonprofit organization seeks a Manager for Individual Giving in the Western USA. Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Manager, Individual Giving West.
The Manager, Individual Giving West is responsible for securing gifts and revenue generated from individual donors living in the western half of the United States. The candidate will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals for mid-level gifts (up to $25,000). This team member has direct impact on the organization’s reputation among donors, as well as the financial and operational performance of the Development Department and the larger organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, manage and maintain individual donor strategies for a portfolio of 125+ individual donors and prospects. Raise $300,000 from individual donors in the first 12 months of employment. The revenue goal will increase to at least $350,000 in the second year of employment. Ensure timely and accurate data management. Support the Director, Individual Giving and Vice President, Individual Giving in advancing the Individual Giving program.

General office and sedentary. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events to include overnight travel. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
