Job summary

The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) is seeking a Manager of Individual Giving to lead a growing donor program and strengthen relationships with Annual Fund supporters in Houston.

In this role you will partner with the Director of Development to build a strong prospect and donor pipeline, manage a portfolio of 100–120 donors, and design communications that connect donors to CAMH’s exhibitions and education programs. A commitment to arts and community is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of donor engagement experience, preferably in arts.
• Solid knowledge of donor moves management (discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship).
• Excellent social, interpersonal, and conversational skills.
• Sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge software highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary manager for a portfolio of 100–120 prospects, members, and donors to the Annual Fund.
• Meet financial goals through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual supporters with the Director of Development.
• Encourage donors to increase membership or gift levels for the Annual Fund.
• Maintain professional relationships with prospects and donors through meetings and tours of CAMH exhibitions.
• Be knowledgeable about CAMH exhibitions and programs to enhance donor experiences.
• Express timely and personal gratitude for portfolio donor gifts.
• Design and implement digital and mailed campaigns for Annual Fund giving and member acquisition.
• Maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge.
• Draft and send invitations for Exhibitions Openings and Collectors Circle events.
