The Dental Broker Manager at Individual and Family Plans (IFP) is a key team member responsible for making IFP a market leader in the individual Dental space. This role involves executing IFP’s broker distribution strategy, recruiting, educating, and engaging external broker partners to drive dental sales.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and persistency goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of brokers and agencies within the IFP footprint.
  • Recruit and develop new broker/agency relationships through various outreach methods.
  • Build trust with broker partners by providing excellent service and acting as their main contact.
  • Stay informed on dental trends, competitors, and market indicators.
  • Maintain external relationships with general agents, brokers, and key producers; present Cigna’s products and capabilities at meetings and conferences.
  • Use analytical tools (including CRM like Salesforce) to plan and execute sales activities.

Incentive Compensation:

This role is eligible for incentive pay based on sales performance, recruitment, persistency, strategy execution, and collaboration.

Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in Dental, Medicare, or Health Insurance.
  • Experience with Dental or ancillary products is preferred.
  • Insurance License or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Established broker relationships are advantageous.
  • Proven sales record and ability to build strong partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% overnight.
