Overview

The Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Broker Manager will be a key team member responsible for establishing IFP as a market leader in the Medical and Dental products space. This role involves executing IFP’s broker distribution strategy in Florida, recruiting, training, and motivating external brokers/agents to achieve outstanding results within their region.

Core Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly/annual sales and persistency goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of brokers/agencies within the IFP footprint.
  • Recruit and develop new broker relationships through various outreach methods.
  • Build trust with the broker community by providing excellent service and acting as their main contact.
  • Stay informed on local market trends, competitive intelligence, and product strategies.
  • Develop external relationships with agents, brokers, and key producers; represent Cigna at meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Utilize technology tools like CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for planning and executing sales activities.
Incentive Compensation

Eligible for incentive compensation based on sales performance, recruitment, persistency, strategic execution, and collaboration. Details are outlined in the annual compensation plan.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience with Medical and/or Dental products preferred.
  • Established broker relationships are important.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales results.
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%.
