Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Broker Manager: Florida - Remote - Cigna Healthcare

The Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Broker Manager will be a critical team member responsible for making IFP a market leader in the Individual Medical and Dental products space. This individual will execute IFP’s broker distribution strategy for Florida by recruiting, training, and motivating external brokers/agents to deliver industry-leading results within their region.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly/annual sales and persistency goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of brokers/agents and markets within the IFP footprint.
  • Recruit and develop new broker/agency relationships through various channels including email, calls, conferences, and meetings.
  • Build trust with the broker community by providing excellent service and acting as their main support contact.
  • Stay informed on local market trends, competitive intelligence, and product strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop market presence by maintaining relationships with general agents, brokers, and key producers, including presenting products, conducting seminars, and attending trade shows.
  • Utilize technology tools like CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to plan and execute sales activities.

Incentive Compensation:

Eligible for incentive pay based on achieving sales, recruitment, persistency, and strategic goals, with details addressed annually.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2+ years relevant sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with Medical and/or Dental products is highly desirable.
  • Established broker relationships are important.
  • Proven sales results and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent Spanish skills are highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%.
