Qualifications

• Training will be provided; CORI and Fingerprint background verification required.
• Experience working with students having special needs, specifically Autism (preferred).
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, Activities of Daily Living, Augmentative Communication, and Behavior Management.
• Discreet Trial Teaching and data collection.
• Individual Aides must be able to provide physical assistance to students and may be required to lift children.
• Must have the ability to be restrain trained.
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Full Time Opening located in Ludlow High School - Special Education / LPVEC

We are looking for a reliable caring individual to work as an Individual Aide.

The Aide works in a classroom and will be assigned to support an individual child.

The specific role and duties depend on the nature of the child's needs.

Aides assistance is based on physical disability, one-to-one academic help, assistance in managing a severe behavior problem, personal care, toileting, feeding, or other duties to meet the educational objectives for the child.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $19 to $22 Per Hour
