Job summary

Deloitte’s Indirect Tax Digital Enablement team is hiring a Manager in San Francisco to deliver innovative tech solutions for complex indirect tax issues. You’ll grow technical expertise, work on greenfield and existing applications, and collaborate with architects and leadership to implement high-performance solutions.

The role requires hybrid work, 2–3 days onsite, and a strong background in .NET, SQL, Azure, and modern UI/UX tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5+ years in accounting firm or corporate tax.
• Travel up to 10% on average.
• Indirect Tax automation experience desirable.
• Experience with .Net, SQL, Azure and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows using emerging tech.
• Develop and maintain features for existing and greenfield applications.
• Collaborate with architects and leadership for performant solutions.
• Review and test code to ensure quality and performance.
• Write SQL queries with cross-environment impact.
• Draft technical documentation and procedures.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and assist processes.
• Promote awareness of new technologies within the team.
