Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Manager on the Indirect Tax Digital Enablement team to deliver innovative technology solutions for complex indirect tax issues in the United States. You will grow technical knowledge and lead development on large tax projects across diverse clients.

Responsibilities include improving workflows with emerging tech, building features, collaborating with architects, and maintaining code quality. Strong SQL, .NET, Azure skills and a mindset for performance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, MIS, data analytics, computer science or related field.
• Experience in tax or professional services is a plus.
• Ability to travel ~10% and work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies using emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain features for an existing application and contribute to Green Field projects.
• Collaborate with architects and leadership to implement performant solutions.
• Review and test code to ensure quality and performance.
• Write SQL queries with cross-environment impact awareness.
• Draft technical procedures and user guides for applications.
• Assist with troubleshooting during business processes and incidents.
• Stay aware of new and emerging technologies and apply them where relevant.
