Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join the Digital and Devices Tax team, supporting the Leo satellite network and consumer devices offerings.

You will lead the end-to-end indirect tax position for country launches, partner with product, engineering, and finance teams, and coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to ensure compliant, scalable tax positions at launch.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Experience advisory experience in a large accounting/consultancy practice, law firm, tax authority or business in-house.
• Experience in international indirect tax planning and strong understanding of or practical experience with tax laws in other countries.
• Experience liaising with tax authorities including responding to audits and information requests.
• Experience analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to extract data and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Leading the end-to-end indirect tax position for Leo country launches—from entity setup to VAT requirements and compliance readiness.
• Partner with Leo business teams early in product development to reflect tax in requirements, invoicing, and pricing displays.
• Work with Engineering to translate tax rules into system logic and testing approaches.
• Manage external advisors, scope advice, evaluate outputs, and form sound positions.
• Engage with tax authorities during audits or inquiries, coordinating with compliance colleagues.
• Provide technical direction to junior colleagues supporting the business line.
