Mercury Marine, a Brunswick brand, is seeking a Supply Chain – Indirect Procurement co‑op / Hybrid co‑op in Fond du Lac, WI. You will work with supply chain professionals managing supplier partners for outboard and sterndrive motors in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements include BS enrollment in supply chain-related field, 48 credits completed, and the ability to enroll in a university co‑op program. Pay ranges $18–$27 per hour with relocation available and visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Supply Chain Operations or Management, Procurement, or a degree related to Supply Chain
• Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
• The ability to enroll in a formalized co‑op Program through your University
• Dependable, self‑motivated and engaged learner
• Preferred: experience in the manufacturing industry

Responsibilities

• Develop effective working relationships with your customers, partners and supplier base, both internally and externally
• Analyze current bids, quotes, and proposals within a process or operation to develop and implement improvements, eliminating waste and streamlining the operations
• Process weekly purchase orders and initiate corrective actions as needed to ensure accurate ordering standards and effective inventory control
• Collaborate with your peers and supplier base to develop cost effective inventory management practices and reduce inventory through implementation of pull, VMI or consignment programs
• Maintain regular partner communications to assess delivery data status, supplier performance, parts deployment, inventory policies and/or continuous improvement efforts
• Investigate and resolve invoicing issues to maintain positive supplier relationships, ensure future materials deliveries, maintain required production levels and provide feedback to management regarding any process or systems issues
• Engage in and support Commodity Team Meetings and Green Belt/LSS projects as needed
• Gain confidence in your ability to influence people and manage potentially contentious situations to a positive result
• Act as a liaison to all areas of the organization while you drive execution within the supply base
