Job summary

PenAir Credit Union in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Indirect Loan Processor to process and fund dealer and vendor loan applications. You will verify that all information is accurate and compliant with PenAir’s Indirect Lending Program, and you will contact indirect dealer partners and members as needed to complete new loan and account information.

This full-time role requires three to five years of related experience and a high school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contact members to verify information and financing terms.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The starting pay for this role is $21.31 per hour.

About the role:

Process and fund indirect loan applications submitted by dealers or vendor partners. Verify all information in the loan package is accurate and compliant with PenAir Credit Union's Indirect Lending Program. Contact indirect dealer partners and members as needed to complete new loan and account information.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review indirect loan packages to ensure all applicable documents are received and verified for accuracy.
• Fund indirect loans by entering the application into the loan origination system, calculating, and distributing loan proceeds and dealership reserves, and booking loans to the core system.
• Contact dealership personnel to obtain missing loan documentation or borrower information. Work directly with underwriting and Business Development staff to resolve documentation deficiencies.
• Work directly with underwriting and dealership personnel to resolve contract terms that may vary from the original approval.
• Contact members as directed by management to verify the borrower’s information, discuss financing terms and collateral insurance, and obtain any missing information or documentation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience

Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

• A high school degree or equivalent.

Interpersonal Skills

• A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
