Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking an Indirect Loan Processing Coordinator at the Melbourne Headquarters. You will handle indirect auto, motorcycle, RV and boat loan applications, ensuring documents are complete and loans are disbursed in a timely manner.

The role demands thorough follow-up and collaboration with the lending teams to meet SCCU guidelines. Required: high school diploma and at least six months of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months’ customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages incomplete loan applications by conducting timely follow-up and maintaining clear communication with applicants and dealer partners.
• Monitors multiple submission channels for required documentation, updates application information, and requests additional items as needed to advance applications.
• Proactively collaborates with the Indirect Loan Processor and other Indirect Lending teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth progression of loan applications; rejects or submits applications for decline when they do not meet completion deadlines or SCCU guidelines.
• Responds to incoming telephone inquiries regarding indirect loans from dealer partners, members, and SCCU Team Members, providing application status updates and issue resolution.
• Assist peers with application workload as needed, helping resolve outstanding items to support team efficiency and workflow.
• Demonstrates consistent self‑motivation and independent problem-solving skills with minimal supervision, maximizing productivity, efficiency, and member satisfaction; recommends improvements to work methods or procedures to enhance process efficiency and quality of results.

Ensures accuracy and completeness of indirect loan documents generated from participating dealers and to ensure the timely disbursement of indirect loans and dealer reserves.

Indirect Loan Processing Coordinator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months’ customer service experience required.

Indirect Loan Processing Coordinator Compensation:

• Starting Compensation: $21.18 to $20.64 per hour.

Indirect Loan Processing Coordinator Hours

Department Operating Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8am -7pm
• Alternating Saturdays 9am-3pm
