Job summary

Gulf Winds Credit Union is seeking a Loan Analyst to analyze loan applications submitted through the Indirect Channel, make underwriting decisions, and work with Direct Lending. Based in Pensacola, FL, you will build and maintain professional relationships with auto dealers and ensure compliance with underwriting policy.

The role requires strong analytical skills, good communication, and experience in credit evaluation.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Two-year college degree, or equivalent training or certifications.
• Bondable and able to work in a team environment.
• Must meet SAFE Act background checks requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications submitted through the Indirect Channel.
• Make underwriting decisions with designated approval authority.
• Cross-train with Direct Lending.
• Maintain professional rapport with auto dealers in the indirect lending program.
• Ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
• Communicate credit decisions to dealers in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide guidance on loan building and policy to staff.
