  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support role
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, such as requisitioning, purchase order creation, and supplier interactions
  • Proficiency in using procurement or ERP systems for transactional tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities for specific categories like transportation, construction, IT, engineering, or other indirect spend areas.
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet sourcing needs efficiently, demonstrating value through market analysis, negotiation, and procurement execution.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, create supplier/category plans, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support supplier base development.
  • Participate in or support supplier performance reviews and business meetings.
  • Negotiate contracts, including terms & conditions, risk assessments, and service agreements.
