Job summary

Spokane Tribe in Washington seeks a Family Violence Program Manager to lead a protective service program for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, trafficking, and elder abuse. You will oversee staff, grants, and operations, ensuring compliance and culturally relevant services.

You will collaborate with courts, law enforcement, and community partners while promoting trauma‑informed care and tribal values across programs and public education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, social science, criminal justice, or related field; or at least one year in domestic violence or related field.
• Experience managing staff and programs, including budgets.
• Complete 20‑hour Washington State Domestic Violence training and 30‑hour Sexual Assault training within 12 months of hire.
• NACP Advanced or Supervisor-level certification (or eligible within one year).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day‑to‑day supervision for FVP staff and volunteers, including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Create and update plans, policies, and procedures to comply with FVPSA, VAWA, VOCA, and tribal rules.
• Manage a program budget over $500,000; ensure proper use of grant funds and timely report submission.
• Write grant applications, submit updates, and track progress in online grant systems.
• Lead program improvement efforts using outcome data from federal and tribal reports.
• Coordinate meetings and teamwork between courts, law enforcement, probation, healthcare, and social services.
