Job summary

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska seeks a dedicated professional to develop and lead efforts to alleviate the effects of domestic violence and behavioral issues on victims. The role collaborates with victims, Tribal Programs, state and federal agencies, and manages contract administration and outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating trainings, facilitating community education, data collection for funding, maintaining client confidentiality, and advocating for services while working

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of case work and administration experience.
  • Ability to pass background checks per 45 CFR 1301 Subpart D and related regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and driving eligibility as required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leads staff to assist in alleviating effects of domestic violence and behavioral issues on victims.
  • Conducts trainings for community, agencies, and groups on domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, and healthy relationships.
  • Manages data collection and reporting for funding sources and program evaluation.
  • Maintains confidentiality and ethical treatment of clients; adheres to state and federal regulations.
  • Presents educational workshops, coordinates community outreach events, and builds partnerships with social services and tribal organizations.
