The coordinator will work with artists, elders, youth, and partners to plan classes, workshops, and community events, maintain records, ensure grant compliance, and promote cultural programming.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, cultural studies, education, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program coordination or arts administration.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Occasional travel may be required for community engagement, trainings, or program delivery.
  • Valid Alaska driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and execute grant-funded cultural programming.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, classes, trainings, and events.
  • Assist with traditional arts programming and cultural practices.
  • Maintain records and ensure ANEP grant compliance.
  • Support communications and outreach for culture programs.
  • Collaborate with Elders and educators to integrate knowledge.
