Job summary

Qualified candidates are licensed to practice in Indiana, proficient with Lexis and MS Office, and capable of handling a substantive caseload with independence and teamwork, strong research and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana.
• Proficient with Lexis and MS Office.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, conduct legal research, and take and defend depositions.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report correspondence.
• Assist with and participate in mediations, pretrial conferences and court appearances.
• Interact with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; manage a substantive caseload.
• Perform complex legal work with discretion and minimal direction.
