You will lead the pastry team, develop recipes, manage inventory, and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure flawless plating and presentation. Relocation is preferred but not required; salary is $1000 per week based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pastry chef roles, preferably in an Indian restaurant or bakery.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian flavors, ingredients and techniques.
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong plating skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team and collaborate with other chefs.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a wide range of Indian-inspired dessert recipes.
• Ensure all desserts are prepared and presented in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Order necessary ingredients and supplies for the pastry department.
• Manage inventory and control food costs.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs.
• Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menu offerings.
