Job summary

G-20 Group seeks an Index Options Trader to manage a discretionary options portfolio and collaborate with quants and developers to enhance pricing models and trading strategies. You will optimize risk-adjusted returns and execute trades with precision in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a finance/ math/ physics/ CS/ engineering degree, a strong options trading background, and a proven track record of substantial profitability. Right to work in NY/Zurich/London/HK is required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Strong background in options trading with solid pricing theory and volatility trading.
  • Proven track record of generating PnL greater than $2m annually for 3+ years.
  • Experience in quantitative trading and applying data analysis to trading decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and proactive, self-motivated work style.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine index options trading strategies across major indices.
  • Analyze market microstructure, volatility dynamics, and execution quality to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with quants and developers to improve pricing models and hedging tools.
  • Monitor portfolio risk and adjust hedges around expiries and macro events.
  • Maintain awareness of macro events and ensure best execution and liquidity management.
