Job summary

G-20 Group, a cross-asset trading firm, seeks an Index Options Trader to manage a discretionary options portfolio and collaborate with traders, researchers, and developers. You will enhance pricing models, refine strategies, and drive risk-adjusted returns in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong options trading background, quantitative analytics, and the ability to apply data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Strong background in options trading with understanding of pricing theory, volatility trading, and strategies.
  • Proven track record of generating profits (PnL > $2m annually for 3+ years).
  • Experience with quantitative trading and applying data analysis to decisions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine index options trading strategies across major indices.
  • Analyze market microstructure, order flow, and volatility to identify trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers to improve pricing models and hedging tools.
  • Monitor macro events and policy developments that influence volatility.
  • Execute trades with precision and manage liquidity and best execution.
  • Manage portfolio Greeks (delta, gamma, vega, theta) and adjust hedges dynamically.
  • Contribute to trading infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics.
