Job summary

G-20 Group is seeking an Equity Options Trader to manage and optimize a discretionary options portfolio. You will collaborate with traders, researchers, and developers to refine pricing models, trading strategies, and risk-adjusted returns as part of a fast-paced trading environment.

The role requires a strong options trading background, experience with quantitative trading, and a track record of profitability.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering from a top-tier university.
  • Strong background in options trading with pricing theory, volatility trading, and strategies.
  • Proven track record of generating consistent profits (PnL > $2m annually for 3+ years).
  • Experience with quantitative trading and applying data analysis to trading decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine equity options trading strategies with a focus on small-cap equities.
  • Analyze market microstructure, order flow, and volatility dynamics to identify trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers to improve pricing models and execution tools.
  • Maintain awareness of corporate actions, earnings events, and catalysts affecting markets.
  • Execute trades with best execution and liquidity management across listed options.
  • Manage portfolio Greeks and adjust hedges dynamically to market changes.
  • Contribute to trading infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics frameworks.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics, providing feedback on strategy effectiveness.
