Job summary

S&P Global Dow Jones Indices is seeking an Index Analyst to manage US/Canada indices, apply methodologies, and present analyses to index committees. The role focuses on accurate data delivery, rebalance execution, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in financial indices or data analysis, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with corporate actions and index rebalancing. A base salary is complemented by an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with financial indices or data analysis.
• Understanding of global financial markets and company fundamentals.
• Knowledge of index methodologies, corporate actions, and rebalancing processes.

Responsibilities

• Calculate S&P and Dow Jones indices and deliver real-time and end-of-day data to clients.
• Apply corporate actions in SPDJI systems per index methodology; validate special treatments.
• Perform analytical research to determine index constituents and composition.
• Conduct index rebalances by running models and communicating changes to clients.
