NexGen Enterprises in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Party Chief for 1099 independent contractor work. You’ll lead field surveys, operate GPS and Total Stations, and collaborate with licensed surveyors on a project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

3+ years of field surveying experience, including independent or crew leadership roles.
Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record (fewer than 3 moving violations in 3 years; no DUI or reckless driving in 5 years).
Your own reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform boundary, topographic, construction staking, and control surveys independently.
Operate GPS, Total Stations, and data collectors with accuracy and care.
Interpret project plans, survey plats, and specifications to guide field activities.
Collect and document clear, precise field notes and sketches for each project.
Communicate proactively with NexGen project managers on progress and site conditions.
Uphold safety standards and quality expectations on every job.
