Job summary

Bond Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York to evaluate and develop individualized therapeutic plans addressing oral motor, communication, and feeding needs. You will deliver Speech and Language habilitation services in line with physician orders, treating individuals with various speech-language disorders.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document in the EHR, and meet productivity goals while guiding families on home exercise programs and therapy

Qualifications

• New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with I/DD population preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AAC devices is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized therapeutic plans for oral motor, communication, and feeding needs.
• Deliver Speech and Language habilitation/rehabilitation services per physician orders.
• Treat individuals with disabilities or injuries related to speech-language functions.
• Utilize therapeutic devices to restore or maintain speech-language performance.
• Instruct families and caregivers on therapy equipment and home exercise programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Meet productivity expectations and participate in supervision sessions.
