Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Tennessee SLP license.
• Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with SLP endorsement.
• ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to independently organize evaluations and manage deadlines.
• Experience with school-based evaluations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and reevaluations for preschool and school-age students.
• Select, administer, score, and interpret appropriate standardized assessments.
• Assess articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and social communication as appropriate.
• Review educational, developmental, and therapy records, gather parent and teacher input, and complete observations as needed.
• Prepare clear, thorough reports that explain findings and their educational impact.
• Collaborate with school teams and participate in evaluation and eligibility meetings as needed.
• Complete evaluations and documentation within required timelines and applicable Tennessee special education requirements.
