Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Porter, Lake, Jasper, and Laporte counties in Northwest Indiana. You will serve as the brand ambassador, grow a territory with existing and new accounts, and collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver top-notch agronomic and sales support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of agricultural experience, strong communication, and proven sales/relationship-building skills to achieve district goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in agriculture experience including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, negotiation skills, and dealer development experience.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to grow sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs to meet district goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and potential customers.
