Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to work independently across various retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

No experience required; 18+ with reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match are offered, with routes including Wahoo, NE and nearby sites.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency to learn and use a company tablet for training and tasks.
• Availability for occasional weekends and holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and maintain backrooms.
• Display and maintain inventory levels of celebrations products.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, or product relocation as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.
