Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Rocky Mount, VA. This independent contractor role involves stocking, replenishing, and merchandising products to keep brand standards and in-store presentation sharp.

You will lead project-based merchandising initiatives and build strong partnerships with store teams to ensure accurate planograms and timely updates. The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while communicating progress

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the retail environment for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs; lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable in varying retail store environments, including cold environments for limited periods.
• Smartphones required for reporting: iPhone 11+; Android 2020+.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and feedback using mobile reporting tools.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Maintain high quality, professionalism, and accountability across assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
