Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, self-directed work and the chance to service major retailers and brands.

Most projects require 12–20 hours per month, with scheduling windows provided by clients. You’ll perform merchandising, resets, audits, and displays, traveling between locations as needed. DailyPay available and competitive project-based pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, audit, or customer service preferred.
• Able to read planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple assignments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting.
• Available during weekday daytime service windows.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
